About Me
After graduating from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Art and Education, I began teaching in the Chicago Public Schools. I taught grades 3 - 7 incorporating my art background from college into the classroom. It brought subjects to life for my students and with some surprisingly wonderful results.
I returned to painting after I retired because of my love for art, creativity and a beautiful Autumn leaf that floated down from my apple tree. That was the inspiration for my first painting. I now have 13 acrylic paintings of various sizes.
My daughter, Lindsey, has two of her own in the gallery. Many thanks to my husband, Hank, for creating this web site for me.
I hope you enjoy my artwork and come back often to see the updates...
